OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS — Lockpath, the leader in innovative governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions announced today the latest Unified Compliance Framework (UCF) content is now fully integrated into Keylight 4.0. This content update includes comprehensive controls for Payment Card Information Data Security Standard 3.0 (PCI DSS), making Lockpath’s Keylight™ platform the first GRC offering to provide this framework.
PCI DSS, the standard for how organizations handle cardholder information for the major debit, credit, prepaid, e-purse, ATM, and POS cards, introduced version 3.0 of their security framework in November, 2013. The updates place emphasis on clarifying the intent of the requirements, guidance around the topic of payment card security and revised controls to ensure requirements are up-to-date with emerging threats and changes in the market. The framework went into effect Jan. 1, 2014, and organizations are required comply with the new standards by Dec. 31, 2014.
“Lockpath is committed to delivering the most streamlined and comprehensive GRC platform possible to help organizations keep pace with today’s evolving regulatory landscape,” said Chris Goodwin, co-founder and CTO of Lockpath. “The latest content addition to Keylight empowers organizations and service providers who are concerned with the security of their payment card transactions to take proactive measures in meeting and in some cases exceeding regulatory requirements.”
With this content update, Keylight is now integrated with additional authority documents including the U.S. CyberSecurity Framework 1.0, Australian Privacy Act of 1988 and the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy.
