Lockpath Hosting Third Annual User Summit
Two-Day Summit in Overland Park, Kan., to Highlight Risk Management Best Practices

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.— May 1, 2018 — Lockpath, a leading provider of compliance and risk management software, today announced the company will be hosting its third annual Lockpath Ready Summit (LPRS18), which will take place May 8-9, in Overland Park, Kan. The summit will bring together professionals and experts from the governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) and information security industry. With attendees from across the nation, LPRS18 serves as an opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking among users of Lockpath’s Keylight Platform.
Hosted at the Overland Park Convention Center, the summit features two keynote speakers, more than 20 engaging sessions, pre- and post-event workshops, as well as sponsored exhibits and networking events. Summit topics will include third-party risk management, incident response, SOX compliance, ISO 27001 certification and more.

The LPRS18 opening keynote “Building a Culture for Change” will be presented by Carole Switzer, president of OCEG, a leading GRC industry think tank. This session will focus on how compliance and risk management professionals can incite a culture shift in their organizations to foster an environment where risk management thrives, as well as how risk management culture will evolve in the future. Switzer is a recognized global leader in the GRC space.
The second-day keynote will be presented by Michael Rasmussen, GRC Pundit at GRC 20/20. This session is called “Reaching the GRC Summit: Planning, Technology, and Execution” and will center on how technology can empower better GRC programs. Rasmussen will also present a post-event workshop, called Enterprise GRC by Design. Registration for this workshop is free and open to all GRC practitioners.
