Lockpath introduces Keylight 4.1

Published on November 11, 2014

OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS — Lockpath, a leader in innovative governance, risk, compliance (GRC) and information security (InfoSec) solutions, today introduced Keylight™ 4.1, the newest version of its award-winning platform. Keylight 4.1 includes some of the industry’s fastest, most sophisticated and innovative data integration and reporting solutions to date.

Keylight 4.1 introduces the Keylight Ambassador, the industry’s first hybrid agent to collect data from applications on multiple cloud and on-premise networks. The Keylight Ambassador gives Lockpath customers unprecedented insight into their organizations’ risk posture by automatically gathering and securely centralizing data from security, vulnerability, and web application scanners, as well as custom applications, applications without APIs, and applications where ad-hoc data is created. Data is processed and analyzed by Keylight’s robust analytics engine and any issues can be reported and routed through a workflow for documented remediation processes.

“All of the enhanced features included in Keylight 4.1 are largely the result of the insights we gained studying how our customers use the platform,” said Chris Goodwin, Chief Technology Officer at Lockpath. “The Keylight Ambassador is just one of the many features that greatly expands Keylight’s ability to help customers achieve audit ready status.”

Keylight 4.1 is also the industry’s first platform to offer bulk record operations. The new bulk operations features give power users the ability to edit, delete, move or tag records in bulk through an intuitive interface. This gives customers the ability to easily transform millions of records with just a few clicks.

Included in this release are several new integrations with leading industry threat and vulnerability intelligence providers iSIGHT Partners, Tripwire and Veracode. It also introduces the Remote Directory Sync, a connector that allows organizations to integrate with both LDAP and SAML, and a new connector to bring syslog data into Keylight. Additional platform-level enhancements include:

  • Versioned reporting leverages the full power of the recently patented ad-hoc reporting engine to analyze historic content
  • Bi-directional look-up fields allows users to edit field linkages from both sides of the relationship
  • IPv6 Support allows for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) address formats
  • Two new skin designs provide customers with additional color schemes and visual aesthetic options
