Published on April 25, 2012
CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS — The 9th Annual MIT Sloan CIO Symposium has announced Lockpath, a provider of innovative governance, risk and compliance (GRC) applications, as one of ten finalists for the 2012 Innovation Showcase as its Keylight™ platform represents a cutting edge B2B solution that combines the strong value and innovation to enterprise IT. Lockpath will receive key exposure to many of the world’s most creative and influential IT executives at the Symposium on May 22, 2012.
After careful consideration, the Innovation Showcase Judges, (consisting of MIT faculty, entrepreneurs, and early-stage investors) chose Lockpath as it:
- Is a start-up with less than $10 million in 2011 revenue
- Is selling B2B enterprise IT solutions to CIOs
- Shows innovation as well as potential impact on the top and bottom lines
“We are thrilled and honored that the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium has recognized Lockpath as an innovator because of the ground-breaking GRC capabilities the Keylight platform brings to the enterprise,” said Chris Caldwell, CEO, Lockpath. “We look forward to attending the Symposium in May and showing attendees firsthand how Lockpath can help them take control of the complex risk and compliance issues they are facing.”
Lockpath’s Keylight platform enables organizations burdened by evolving risk and regulatory demands to reach the true potential of enterprise-wide GRC. Built from the ground up, the software delivers an unmatched level of integrated risk and regulatory intelligence by correlating security information from multiple data sources with current regulations and policies. The recently released Keylight 2.3 provides companies of all sizes an effortless approach to establishing a comprehensive GRC program.
“We are very impressed with these top ten Innovation Showcase finalists, as their technologies demonstrate incredible state of the art thinking to today and tomorrow’s challenges,” said David L. Verrill, Executive Director of the MIT Center for Digital Business, and the Co-chair of the Innovation Showcase. “The Innovation Showcase provides a terrific one-of-a-kind opportunity for these start ups to gain a larger visibility in front of IT executives, key stakeholders, and venture capitalists.”
